Userful free software turns home computer into two!

Suppose you are starting an internet business from your home computer. Say you are not ready to invest in a new computer or pay for a second internet account. But your computer is being used by other family members.

Perhaps your spouse uses the computer strictly for emails. Maybe you have a preadolescent or teenager who uses that computer to play online games or to send and receive comments with his buddies on MySpace.

Or maybe access to your home computer is constantly being fought over by your children.

If you have an extra monitor gathering dust in a closet, an extra keyboard and mouse, Userful’s free two-user software doubles the utility of your existing computer.

Tim Griffin, president of the Alberta-based company says, “Userful is giving away its eco-friendly software to show how much untapped value lies in current desktop PCs.”

Griffin goes on to say, “We’ve also added a live CD meaning you can carry it with you and transform virtually any PC into a two user computer.” His software also separates your business files and software from the gaming, social networking uses that too often result in malware.

Userful’s commercial version of Desktop Multiplier software can create up to 10 independent workstations from a single standard PC box. This software is being used around the world in schools, libraries, hotels, and other businesses and has provided huge savings on desktop computing costs by reducing the number of computer boxes that need to be purchased and maintained.

Userful was recently named Alberta’s 10th fastest growing company under $20 million in revenue.
